Ann-Marie Chapman is an accomplished procurement and supply chain leader with over 25 years across the Energy, Manufacturing and Life Sciences Industries. She has over 16 years within the Energy sector, 15+ years in leadership roles within bp, developing distinctive teams across Procurement and Supply Chain and Finance. She started in Downstream as a global category manager for engineered equipment and materials, spearheading bp’s first supplier enablement programme and worked in bp’s head office in St.James in Finance as a trusted business advisor. Within Upstream she led the procurement and supply chain team for the development of onshore gas facilities in North Africa and the central category management teams for engineered equipment and materials within the global projects organisation. Moving to the global wells organisation she led central global category teams for interventions and decommissioning, regional well services teams in UK Aberdeen, Norway, Trinidad and Tobago and Alaska, and the contractor safety programme.

She was a highly respected executive leader within Alaska as its Chief Procurement Officer and was an integral part of the regional executive team. Ann-Marie was a key member of a Performance PMO, helping to shape a group performance function as part of reinvent bp.

Educated with an MBA in Business Administration and Supply Chain Management, a certified member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS), Ann-Marie is a lifelong learner and high energy problem solver.
